Here Comes The Feeling
Hi everyone. The Friday feeling is well and truly here. Today at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK or 2 PM Eastern,. I will carry that feel good feeling onto the airwaves as I look forward to offering you a warm Welcome To The Weekend.
Two hours of upbeat bouncy summery tunes along with lots of friendly banter are on offer to rid you from the stress of the working week, and get you ready for the weekend.
All our usual features are on show for you to enjoy, and your suggestions for anything you’d like to suggest for them are most welcome at any time.
• Kick-Start. This opening track sets the pace for your weekend. By request today we hear a track from an album released in 1982 that wasn’t released on Single, but should have been.
• Double-Take. At the bottom of the first hour, we play two tracks by the one artist along with a little bio on the artist in question. This weekend we feature Olly Murs.
• The Irish Connection. Exactly 1 hour later I play two tracks by two different Irish artists. This weekend, we hear a track from a Dublin band who released their debut album in 2002, and a band who released their 3rd studio album in 2015, whose name is the same as something you might have for lunch. All revealed later.
• The One That Got Away. This feature is dedicated to a track that is not often heard on the Radio. This weekend we hear a track from a band who released their 31st album in October last year.
